This summer, Damilola Jewellery had the honour of trading at Reggae Land (August 2nd & 3rd) for the very first time — and what an unforgettable weekend it was.
From the moment we set up shop near the One Love stage, the vibes were right. Sunshine, sound systems blasting, and thousands of people ready to celebrate reggae culture — the high vibrations was unmatched.
And the day started with a blessing we’ll never forget: our very first customer was Morgan Heritage. Woooii. Yes, the legendary Morgan Heritage — reggae royalty👑. He picked up our brand-new Jamaica flag pendant (big version) and a Colombia flag pendant for a friend. Talk about a moment!
The support was unreal. We served so many incredible customers — and the best part was seeing people wear their new pieces immediately, walking around Reggae Land ✨shining✨. That’s what it’s all about: jewellery with meaning, worn with pride.
The music? Yep, Reggae land did the damn thing! Performances from Tanya Stephens, Marcia Griffiths, Mavado, YG Marley, Dexta Daps, Capleton, Morgan Heritage and so much more filled the air with pure energy. Being part of that atmosphere — the culture, the community, the sound — was something we’ll never forget.
Trading at Reggae Land wasn’t just a milestone for us as a business. It was a reminder of why we do what we do: creating jewellery that connects, empowers, and carries stories wherever it goes.
